Sandwiches – the kings on our table – are not only for the breakfast with a cup of tea, but also for the dinner or picnic.
Ingredients
2 slices of loaf bread ‘Iš gamtos kraitės’ of whole-wheat flour.
2 slices of black bread ‘Iš gamtos kraitės’ of whole-wheat flour.
2 slices of light bread ‘Iš gamtos kraitės’ of whole-wheat flour.
2 slices of sandwich bread ‘Iš gamtos kraitės’ of whole-wheat flour.
4 tablespoons of unsweetened curd cheese spread
1 handful of salad
2 medium size cucumbers
1 avocado
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
4 slices of fermented cheese
1 handful of fresh basil leaves
Preparation
Wash the salad and basil and dry in the salad spinner. Peel the avocado, remove the pit, cut the flesh in small slices and flesh with lemon juice. Wash the cucumber and cut in fine pieces.
Apply curd cheese on all slices of bread and loaf bread and cut them in half. Place the salad leaves, avocado, cucumber, basil, fermented cheese on one side and then in reverse order – basil, cucumber, avocado, salad. Lastly, put another slice of bread or loaf bread on the top of sandwich.
Leave the sandwiches pressed for at least half an hour or place in portions to the sandwich bags and the oblong rectangular box.
