Ingredients
200 g of white beans
4 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon of ground chilli pepper
1/2 teaspoon of chilli pepper flakes
100 ml of sesame paste
50 ml of olive oil
50 ml of water used for cooking the beans
salt to taste
a package of bread crisps ‘Bon Chance’
Preparation
Leave the beans to soak overnight to reduce the time of cooking. Wash the soaked beans, place in the water, put two garlic cloves and cook for about 1 hour at low temperature until the beans become soft.
Strain the cooked beans. Leave part of the liquid where the beans were cooked. Blend the boiled beans with the remaining garlic cloves, sesame paste, olive oil, spices and lemon juice with electric blender. To make the spread more watery, add some water used for cooking the beans.
Serve the spread tossed with some chilli pepper flakes and bread crisps.
